Erika is a 2001 graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed an internship in small animal and surgery at Michigan State Universtiy, School of Veterinary Medicine. in 2002 and a residency in Neurology and Neurosurgery at the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. She was a Clinician in Neurology/Neurosurgery in 2008 at the Animal Helath Trust Lanwades Park, Kentford, She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
